Tree Planting Initiatives

As a wine accessory brand, we have a special partnership with the Eden Reforestation Project. With every order placed with us, we plant a tree through this organization. Thanks to this partnership, we have already planted many thousands of trees. The Eden Reforestation Project is a non-profit organization that works to restore natural landscapes that have been destroyed by deforestation. They work with communities that are facing extreme poverty due to deforestation and land destruction. The organization provides employment, education and tools to local communities, which allows millions of trees to be planted, protected and grown each year. The Eden Reforestation Project has planted over 423 million trees, including 225 million mangrove trees.

Our involvement in tree planting not only contributes to the restoration of the natural environment, but also helps local communities in their fight against poverty. In doing so, we also try to offset the emissions caused by transport, and contribute to a more sustainable future. Together, we have already planted a significant number of trees and we continue to work to plant more.

The Eden Reforestation Project emphasizes the use of native tree species. These trees provide habitat for animals, purify water, regulate flooding and erosion, and enrich soil. Additionally, 10% of the trees are designated for agroforestry species, which are specifically intended for long-term sustainable use by the community. This directly provides food for the community and provides wood and fuel. By reducing logging, these trees also help maintain restored forests and protected areas.
